2-3364 Notice to Professional Consultants 5th Street Resurfacing & Drainage Improvements FPID No. 438895-2-54-01 City of Chipley, Florida The City of Chipley, Florida anticipates seeking professional consultant services for the design services that includes milling and resurfacing 5th Street from SR 10 (US 90) to South Boulevard (CR 273) including drainage improvements within the Forrest Avenue / 5th Street Intersection. The total project length is approximately 0.52 miles. The project varies in width from 24' wide to 30' wide and has pedestrian facilities along one or both sides of the street. The project will also include clearing and grubbing, sodding, seeding and mulching, drainage improvements, residential/commercial turnouts, manhole adjustments, valve adjustments, signing, pavement markings along the roadway, and intersections. The drainage improvements at the intersection of 5th Street and Forrest Avenue includes the replacement of the existing curb inlets and approximately 200 feet of culvert. Consideration will be given to only those firms that are qualified pursuant to law and that have been prequalified by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) in accordance with Rule Chapter 14-75, Florida Administrative Code to perform the indicated Type(s) of Work.
